A Graphic Designer by profession (G D Art/Applied) from Mumbai, worked as a freelancer for almost 15 years. She did the designing work mainly for many reputed Pharma Companies from Mumbai, Hyderabad.
In 2003 got associated with The Spastic Society of Karnataka, Bangalore as a volunteer for their Creative Art Unit to train the Cerebral Palsy students. In 2004 did DSE (ASD) by Manipal University, at The Spastic Society of Karnataka. Since then, running a full-fledged training centre named “Kaizen – Intervention Centre for Autism”. She is also working towards creating awareness about Autism and other Developmental Disabilities, through workshops & articles.
Her background of Graphic Designing & the inclination of kids with Autism towards technology have motivated her “to connect the chord between the two”. Along with Kaizen, the intervention centre, she is also helping the children with Autism and other developmental disabilities and their parents/teachers to develop computer / ipad (tablet) skills. She is also associated with Prayas Lab – Bangalore, Balkalyaan Sanstha – Pune, Sopan Trust – Mumbai as a computer/ipad trainer.
